Hillary Clinton meets Japanese Foreign Minister

Hillary Clinton is currently visiting Japan and other Asian nations to
promote improved diplomatic relations. Clinton may be interested to
learn that on December 20, 2007,
the Japanese Defense Minister at the time, Shigeru Ishiba, publicly
commented on his nation's defense policy concerning a possible
extraterrestrial attack. He said:
"If they descended, saying `People of the Earth, let's make friends,'
it would not be considered an urgent, unjust attack on our country."
Secretary Clinton might then recall her own public comment about
numerous Hollywood depictions of extraterrestrials as invaders.
