Hillary Clinton is currently visiting Japan and other Asian nations to
\npromote improved diplomatic relations. Clinton may be interested to
\nlearn that on December 20, 2007,<\/a>
\nthe Japanese Defense Minister at the time, Shigeru Ishiba, publicly
\ncommented on his nation's defense policy concerning a possible
\nextraterrestrial attack. He said<\/a>:
\n"If they descended, saying `People of the Earth, let's make friends,'
\nit would not be considered an urgent, unjust attack on our country."
\nSecretary Clinton might then recall her own public comment about
\nnumerous Hollywood depictions of extraterrestrials as invaders.<\/p>\n
