\nHillary Clinton has a long-standing interest in the most far-out of
\ndiplomatic endeavors: relations with extraterrestrials. (Yes, you read

\nabout UFOs in 1995 and thereafter became concerned with the potential
\nimpact of negative media portrayals on future extraterrestrial
\ndiplomacy. <\/p>\n\n
\nClinton\u2019s subsequent public statements concerning UFOs and alien life
\nshow that she was greatly concerned with the negative stereotypes
\ncreated by Hollywood concerning extraterrestrials. In January 25, 1999
\nat the White House Fifth Millennium Evening, she said<\/a>:
\n"Most of the movies about the future show aliens descending from outer
\nspace determined to blow up the world, and somehow they always begin or
\nend with Washington, D.C." Later that same year on June 17, in Paris,
\nshe explicitly questioned the rationale behind such movies: "… often
\nin these movies, for reasons that I question, we have space aliens who
\nare always blowing up Washington, D.C., and the White House." Most
