\nUK government UFO investigator Nick Pope let slip during a radio
\ninterview last night that "UK pilots had shoot-down orders after
\nengaging UFO's on several occasions" during his time serving at the
\nMinistry of Defence.<\/font><\/p>\n
\nannouncement came during the Internet radio show Now THAT'S Weird
\nhosted by broadcaster Ross Hemsworth to a worldwide audience on Friday
\nnight on Glastonbury International Radio.<\/p>\n
\nthe MOD who have so often said "they pose no threat to national
\nsecurity" were worried enough to issue orders to pilots to shoot down
\nthe mysterious craft, although no shoot-downs were successful. Nick
\nwent on to say "I am pleased that the orders were unsuccessful as the
\nlast thing we needed is some of inter-stellar conflict"<\/p>\n
\nRoss asked Nick what the government would do if a potential threat of
\nan E.L.E. existed (extinction level event) he commented that the
\ngovernment would probably NOT alert the public for fear of mass panic.<\/p>\n
\nstatement was backed up by the third guest on the show Peter Davenport
\nfrom the USA based National UFO Reporting Center who claimed that he
\nparticipated in a meeting with senior US government officials at which
\ntime they told him UFO's were very real and "did pose a threat". He was
\nalso told that during the famous "phoenix Lights incident" over
\nArizona. that the US government declared a "Def Con 3" – a readiness
\nfor war!<\/p>\n
