\nPart I of a conversation with Andrew D. Basiago about his discovery of life on Mars in NASA photograph PIA10214, which is a
\npanoramic montage of a series of snapshots of the Martian surface that
\nwere taken by NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit<\/em> in 2007, when Spirit<\/em>
\nwas perched on the western edge of the Home Plate plateau in the inner
\nbasin of the Columbia Hills range of the Gusev Crater on Mars. How
\nNASA
\nphotograph PIA10214 contains evidence of four different types of
\nhumanoid beings,
\nanimal species that exist, once existed, or have never existed on
\nEarth, carved statues, built structures, and dead bodies. How
\nthe iconic figure of a human female found jutting from the edge of a
\nplateau in the NASA photo is actually part of a complex statue that
\ncombines human male and female figures, a pediment, and a painted rock carving of a
\nplumed serpent
\nbiting the neck of a bearded male human. How humanoid beings
\nwith bulbous heads and spindly bodies are plainly visible in The Rock
\nGarden and on Tsiolkovski Ridge.<\/p>\n
\nenvironmental scholar educated at UCLA and the University of
\nCambridge. He maintains a private law practice in Washington State.
