\nof Hong Kong (HKU) officials have told UFO advocates to \u201ccease talking to
\nthe press\u2026\u201d about an HKU decision to arbitrarily cancel a UFO
\ncourse. The controversy at the University
\nof Hong Kong around its
\ndecision to drop a planned course on UFOs has now reached international

In a
\nsignificant turn of events, a special meeting was arranged between Neil Gould
\nof Exopolitics Hong Kong<\/a>, a
\nrepresentative from <\/span><\/font><\/span>the HK Institute of Ufology<\/span><\/span> and the two heads of the General Education Department at
\nthe University of
\nHong Kong to discuss
\nre-instating the UFO course originally committed to by the university.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
In an update
\nto the world-wide Exopolitical research community about the meeting, Neil Gould
\nof Exopolitics Hong Kong stated, \u201c<\/span><\/font><\/span>The meeting was
\nvery pleasant from their side but they asked if\u2026 the UFO Club, and I
\nwould cease talking to the press. I told them it was impossible\u2026\u201d  <\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
It appears
\nsignificant public pressure is being exerted on the University of Hong Kong
\nby the intense international coverage of this matter.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
Neil
\nGould\u2019s update further indicates that HKU officials appear to be buying
\ntime in an effort to delay any decision about re-instating the UFO course in
\nthe hope this will all be defused and just \u201cblow over\u201d in time.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
Gould is
\nhaving no part of this, as further indicated by his response to HKU officials
\nduring the pre-arranged meeting: \u201c<\/span><\/font><\/span>You have done
\nnothing since the last lectures except use time to delay things… I have
\nanother appointment with a French newspaper and Hong Kong\u2019s
\nlargest magazine where we will fill 4 pages with issues regarding the
\ncancellation of the lectures and your interference with the students\u2019
\nfreedom.\u201d<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
