Students
\nat Hong Kong University have condemned the abrupt cancellation of a
\ncourse exploring Exopolitics and UFO phenomena. The Hong Kong Institute
\nof Ufology and the University of Hong Kong jointly sponsored the
\noptional course. The course was scheduled for last September but the
\nuniversity canceled it.<\/p>\n
Hong Kong's widest and most distributed newspaper, the Apple Daily<\/em><\/strong>, The On October 26, Red – Lisa Lanyon, a professor at Red Rocks Community College Paola Talking Neil Gould, of Exopolitics Hong Kong<\/strong><\/a>, See the Best-of-2008-Books-on-UFOs-Extraterrestrials-and-the-Government-Coverup<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
\nreported in a headline that, \u201cA high level within the science faculty
\nput pressure on Hong Kong University General Education Department and
\ncalled off exopolitics lectures four hours before doors opened.\u201d Based
\non the Apple Daily<\/em> article, the Asia One News<\/strong><\/a>
\nsaid also \u201cthe course was delayed and discussions were held on offering
\nit at a later date after some academics expressed reservations about
\nits content, Moon Fong, a committee member of the institute, told AFP.
\nSome members of the university's science faculty were concerned that
\nthe course would present only the views of the UFO experts," Fong said.<\/p>\n
\nemerging field of exopolitics is new to North American education as
\nwell. But in Canada, Victor Viggiani, Director of Media Relations at Exopolitics Toronto<\/strong><\/a>,
\nwas given full access to present a lecture series Exopolitics course at
\nthe University of Toronto in Canada. He said, \u201cThe response was
\namazing! Most had no idea that this type of political intrigue,
\nregarding high levels of government secrecy, is standard practice among
\nour government intelligence organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado sponsored a three-hour
\npresentation titled; \u201cWe Are Not Alone! An Exopolitical, Academic
\nPerspective.\u201d It was one of the first such events sponsored by a
\ncollege in the U.S. The speakers were:<\/p>\n
– Paola Harris<\/strong><\/a>, International free-lance journalist, author of two books, and a teacher<\/a> <\/strong>of online courses<\/strong><\/a> in \u201cExopolitics, the Media, and Hollywood\u201d at the Exopolitics Institute<\/strong><\/a>, and
– Jeff Peckman, author and spokesperson for the ballot initiative to create and Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission<\/strong><\/a> in Denver<\/p>\n
\nHarris showed astonishing and convincing photos of people and craft of
\nextraterrestrial origin. Her new online course is based on current
\nresearch that involves the role of preparing the masses for the fact
\nthat \u201cwe are not alone\u201d in the Universe. She states that \u201cGovernmental
\nintervention, starting with Disney and the Hollywood film industry, has
\nbeen part of a subtle disclosure process to prepare the general public.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nabout outer space from the view of only the physical sciences is like
\ntalking about Earth without mentioning that human beings live here. A
\nvaluable introduction to the field of Exopolitics and extraterrestrial
\ncivilizations, people and vehicles, can be gained from available online
\ncourses<\/strong><\/a>, books<\/strong><\/a>, and DVDs. <\/p>\n
\nis hoping for a favorable and quick resolution to the Hong Kong
\nproblem. But he has stated that it could become a public relations
\nnightmare for Hong Kong University.
It might be that east meets west, but only in outer space.<\/p>\n
