now after three<br \/>\nyears an Administrator at Wikipedia has removed the &quot;Exopolitics&quot;<br \/>\narticle from the online &quot;people&#8217;s&quot; encyclopedia.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThis from a publication with huge articles on Britney Spears, the<br \/>\nIncredible Hulk and Mr. Ed (the talking horse).&nbsp; &nbsp;Efforts to<br \/>\nget the article reinstated were rebuffed, and essentially impossible,<br \/>\ngiven the absurd complexity of Wikiprocedures.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">Wikipedia is a powerful<br \/>\nconcept.&nbsp; &nbsp;Six percent of all web users access it.&nbsp; It draws<br \/>\nupon the collective intellectual resource to create something with huge<br \/>\npotential.&nbsp; Sadly, in order to deal with attendant issues such as<br \/>\ninaccuracy, vandalism and malicious intent, operationally it has become an<br \/>\nimpenetrable, incomprehensible labyrinth populated by obsessive-compulsive<br \/>\ngeeks who rule over imaginary fiefdoms while hiding behind screen<br \/>\nnames.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">The Administrator\/OCG in this instance<br \/>\nwho deleted the &quot;Exopolitics&quot; article goes by the screen name<br \/>\n&quot;Sandstein.&quot;&nbsp; He has no knowledge of exopolitics, its<br \/>\nhistory or the attendant issues and his &quot;decision&quot; was derived<br \/>\nfrom a mock consensus of a few other OCG&#8217;s who know even less &#8211; a<br \/>\nrationale based upon the premise that collective ignorance is somehow<br \/>\nsmarter than individual ignorance &#8211; a case of the arrogant leading the<br \/>\nblind. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">First<br \/>\nGoogle deletes the Open Letter to Senator Hillary Clinton listings at or<br \/>\nnear the top of the search returns going into the key<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Indiana<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> and<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">North<br \/>\nCarolina<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> primary elections, which<br \/>\nmiraculously reappear a few days after the elections are over.&nbsp;<br \/>\nNow Wikipedia has deleted the &quot;Exopolitics&quot; article which had<br \/>\nbeen in place for over three years.&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">PRG executive director<br \/>\nStephen Bassett commented, &quot;It is important to understand that given<br \/>\nthe manner in which Wikipedia operates, it is very vulnerable to direct<br \/>\ngovernment interference.&nbsp;A &quot;consensus&quot; of a<br \/>\nfew &quot;users&quot; is all that is needed to remove an article which is<br \/>\nnot to the liking of some element within government.&nbsp;&#8216;Administrators&#8217; can be planted and affect content,<br \/>\nblock users and who knows what else.&quot;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span face=\"arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">&quot;In any event, every time<br \/>\ncensorship of exopolitical issues by non-governmental entities takes place<br \/>\nPRG is going to point it out and name names.&nbsp;
