There
\nis a point that is reached when the release and learning of a truth is
\ninfinitely more desirable than anything that might be gained by
\npunishing the offenders that covered up the truth of an event in the
\nfirst place. It frees up people to talk without fear of implicating
\nthemselves, and in so doing, the truth is openly revealed. There are
\nmany examples of when such forgiveness has been used, and the end of
\nApartheid in South Africa is a well-known example of an effective use
\nof Truth Amnesty. It is particularly effective in major paradigm
\nshifts. The understanding and acceptance of the fact that we are not
\nthe only ones in the universe and the idea that we aren’t quite all we
\nthink we are is a huge paradigm shift on the order of magnitudes.<\/p>\n

Alfred Webre’s<\/a> <\/p>\n Webre recently contrasted retributive justice with restorative justice on his radio show Exopolitics<\/span> Radio<\/a>, Season 2, Episode 6, audio archive hyperlink
\nrecently announced disclosure<\/span> strategy of Truth Amnesty regarding the
\nET issue is a necessary strategy if the Earth is ever truly going to go
\ngalactic. It’s time to put down our guns and play with the big boys.
\nThis is not going to happen as long as we have nuclear weapons and
\nworse pointed at each other and into space. The concept of Truth
\nAmnesty is a spiritual concept that runs counter to our own way of
\nthinking. The putting into action of this concept will allow us to
\nenter into a new plane of existence, a new way of thinking and being. A
\nworld of peace, forgiveness and grace as opposed to revenge, hate and
\nwar. As Webre so eloquently puts it, it is a shift from a war economy
\nto a sustainable economy. <\/p>\n
