THE LAUNCHING OF THE NEW ENERGY MOVEMENT by Stephen Kaplan\n<\/p>\n

The New Energy Movement (NEM) is dedicated to gaining public support
\nfor research and development of new energy technologies that can be
\nrapidly deployed in commercial and consumer markets. <\/p>\n

The movement was launched at a public forum in Portland, Oregon
\nSeptember 25-26, 2004, entitled \u201cNew Energy: The Courage to Change\u201d. <\/p>\n

The conference was dedicated to the memory of Dr.Eugene Mallove, a
\ndedicated champion of new energy R&D, whose untimely death was
\nmourned by all in attendance. Three hundred people listened to and
\ninteracted with some of the field\u2019s most prominent advocates. <\/p>\n

Speakers included NEM founder Dr.Brian O\u2019Leary, astrophysicist, new
\nscience pioneer and author of Miracle in the Void and Re-Inheriting the
\nEarth; Jeane Manning, a leading new energy journalist and author of The
\nComing Energy Revolution; Dr. Tom Valone, Director of the Integrity
\nResearch Institute and author of seminal new energy books; Dr.Steven
\nGreer, founder of both the Disclosure Project and Space Energy Access
\nSystems (SEAS), a new energy R&D firm; Mark Comings, founder of
\nDynamis, a new energy R&D incubator firm, and a physicist with a
\ngift for depicting converging trends in physics and mysticism. <\/p>\n

The audience also heard from Martin Burger, CEO of Blue Power, on
\nTidal Power R&D; Win Lambertson, the inventor of the E-Dam device,
\non solid-state zero-point energy devices and Ken Rauen, a former
\nresearch colleague of Eugene Mallove, on both water-borne fusion
\ntechnologies and advanced thermodynamics. <\/p>\n

While participants eagerly absorbed the latest information and
\ninsights provided by the major speakers, they also had a chance to
\nenter their own comments and ask questions during two panel
\ndiscussions, the first dealing with promises and obstacles and the
\nsecond with how to make the transition to a sustainable economy, with a
\nparticular focus on the role of NEM. <\/p>\n

A highlight of the conference was the singing of Shawn Gallaway, a
\nsinger-songwriter, whose music helped to elevate and inspire the
\ngathering, illustrating the power of that old\/new form of energy called
\nLove. His song \u201cI Choose Love\u201d easily won common endorsement as the
\nanthem of the movement. <\/p>\n

What is the importance of this movement and how is it likely to evolve in the future? <\/p>\n

The New Energy Movement was created because of the long-felt need of
\nits leaders for citizen support to change the status quo and existing
\nparadigm in the energy field. Because of the resistance of much of the
\nscientific community, the indifference or even hostility of government
\nand the press, new energy advancements are largely unknown and
\nunsupported by the general public. And because of this, it is extremely
\ndifficult to get the funds needed for R&D from angel investors. <\/p>\n

These funds are critical for moving many promising devices from \u201cproof of concept\u201d to prototypes ready for production. <\/p>\n

Something in the overall equation has to shift, and the one approach
\nthat has not yet been fully utilized is educating and mobilizing public
\nsupport at the grassroots. If such support is built, it will make it
\nmore likely that investors will come on board or that innovative
\nfunding arrangements can be created. <\/p>\n

Moreover, in some scenarios of bringing out new energy devices
\npublic support will be an essential safeguard against possible
\nsuppression by hostile forces. Of course, once working devices are
\npublicly demonstrated or go into production, market forces will become
\nthe most potent way to spread the new technologies widely. <\/p>\n

The highlight of the two-day gathering was the energy and spirit
\ndisplayed by conference participants. Participants eagerly absorbed the
\nknowledge and inspiration passed on by the major speakers and
\npanelists, and when it came time for them to ask questions or voice
\ntheir views, many were eager to step to the mikes provided for that
\npurpose. <\/p>\n

Also visible was enthusiastic informal networking. We plan to allow
\neven more time for such networking at future meetings, using innovative
\nways to share networks and the results flowing from them in public
\nsessions. Cooperation among all parties interested in the new energy
\nfield is essential if progress is to be made. <\/p>\n

As was expressed by many the rise in consciousness required to bring
\nsuch cooperation into being will come about simultaneously with
\ndevelopment of the new devices and processes. As if to underscore this
\nrealization, many stepped forward to volunteer their services, filling
\nout information giving us an idea of their interests, talents, skills
\nand resources. <\/p>\n

Already it is clear we have the nucleus of what will be a growing
\nmovement for change. As we raise the funds needed to put NEM on a solid
\nand stable footing, we will be able to spread information and guidance
\nfor expanding the movement to other parts of the United States and the
\nworld. <\/p>\n

We are beginning this effort by supporting chapters of NEM now being
\nset up in cities in the U.S, Canada, Ecuador, Costa Rica and South
\nAfrica. NEM\u2019s board and members are considering the best ways both to
\ngrow the movement and approach both the promise and obstacles to
\ncreating a free energy economy. <\/p>\n

How much attention should be put on reaching out to national
\nleadership, both public and private, at a time when vested interests
\nare so powerful and so resistant to new solutions? How much should we
\nconcentrate on building up the capacity of local communities to create
\na sustainable future, as larger societal structures become less and
\nless able to meet human needs? How can we best help inventors be
\ncreative and productive? How can we use the internet to reach out to
\npotential members in a way that mobilizes support rapidly and
\neffectively? How do we create and support grass-roots NEM chapters? <\/p>\n

These are just of a few of the issues to be resolved as NEM plants
\nits roots and grows. We welcome input from all who want to participate.\n<\/p>\n

As we at NEM look toward the future, we hold fast to the words of
\nMargaret Mead on the power of the few: Never doubt that a small group
\nof thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s
\nthe only thing that ever has. <\/p>\n

MAJOR SPEAKERS – SUMMARIES <\/p>\n

The following summaries of talks given by the major speakers have
\nbeen drawn largely from those prepared by Susan Carter and T.Cullen of
\nPure Energy Systems News. Their summaries have been edited by me and
\ninclude some new wording. <\/p>\n

Dr.Brian O’Leary <\/strong>Dr. Brian O’Leary could be described as
\nauthor, astronaut, college professor or political energy advisor, but
\nthe best title to give him is iconoclast. Excommunicated from the
\npriesthood of science for his study of New Energy, he is the founder of
\nthe New Energy Movement organization and was the opening speaker for
\ntheir flagship conference in Portland, Oregon, Sept 26th and 27th. He
\nalso opened the second day of the meeting. Starting out with the quote
\n"Society honors its live conformists and dead troublemakers." <\/p>\n

Dr. O’Leary was visibly moved while honoring Gene Mallove, murdered
\nin May. Mallove, a fearless and tireless champion of cold fusion and
\nother new energy innovations, lived with full and fruitful awareness of
\nthe New Energy Movement’s motto: We recognize that the single most
\nhighly leveraged opportunity for advancement toward solving complex
\nglobal problems lies in a transformation in the way human civilization
\ngenerates and utilizes energy. <\/p>\n

Dr. O’Leary, listing broad global challenges such as war, pollution
\nand population growth, declared we must "muster the courage to change"
\nand that the valid solutions to our gravest problems will arise out of
\na broad based social movement. Warming to his theme and true to his
\niconclastic nature he said, "We must dissolve the myths that hold us
\nback as a civilization. <\/p>\n

There are NO laws in physics. There is NO Second Law of
\nThermodynamics. There are only theories, and the theories need to be
\nchanged to match the facts." <\/p>\n

O’Leary went on to list other myths that must be done away with,
\nsuch as, "If New Energy were real, we’d have it by now," and "We must
\nawait the commercial magic bullet". He challenged the oft-repeated
\nassertion that "extraordinary claims need extraordinary proof\u201d,
\nasserting \u201cthey need reasonable proofs like any other theory". <\/p>\n

The major myth he wished to dissolve is that the US government is
\ngoing to do the research and development needed to solve the energy
\nproblems. Quoting Bertrand Russell, he said, "The resistance to a new
\nidea increases as the square of its importance." <\/p>\n

Dr. O\u2019Leary pointed out that the average citizen\u2019s trust in the free
\nmarket to introduce energy solutions on a timely basis is unjustified.
\n\u201cThe market hasn\u2019t done this, and it won\u2019t until the people clamor for
\nit.\u201d Dr. O\u2019Leary was cheered as he threw down his final gauntlet,
\n"Let’s have a positive ‘terra-ist’ attack and let’s planet together!\u201d <\/p>\n

Brian O’Leary’s fiery delivery and in-your-face attitude was a
\nperfect opener for the New Energy Movement which dares to take on the
\nbiggest icon of all \u2013 the oil industry. Opening the second day of the
\nconference, Dr.O\u2019Leary proclaimed the truism that if we keep going in
\nthe direction were going, we will get there. . Instead, we need to
\ndetermine new goals and move towards a more conscious future. <\/p>\n

"To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men,"
\nhe said, quoting Abraham Lincoln. O\u2019Leary stated that our goal is the
\nintroduction of \u201cenergy sources which are clean, affordable,
\ndecentralized, benign. feasible and reliable and that are accountable
\nto the public.\u201d <\/p>\n

To reach that goal, he offered a number of social and personal action steps, which were a mix of science and spirituality. <\/p>\n

He advocated a Manifesto for Sustainability and a Global Green
\nDemocracy. Spiritually we need to recognize that the world is a
\nreflection of our inner self, and until we clean up our own inner and
\nouter spaces, the world will not be harmonious. \u201cWe resonate with ZPE,\u201d
\nhe avowed, claiming that spoon bending experiments he has demonstrated
\nshow our influence on the biosphere. \u201cHuman intentions can influence
\nthe universe.\u201d <\/p>\n

Dr O\u2019Leary pointed to additional evidence such as Cleve Baxter\u2019s
\nexperiments showing how plants respond to human thought and feeling,
\nand Dr.Masaru Emoto\u2019s research on the hidden messages of water, which
\nreveal the harmonic and orderly crystalline form of clean water and the
\ndeformed and disharmonic form of polluted water. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Leary acknowledged that there are environmentalists who will
\noppose powerful new energy technologies because they fear their use
\nwill lead to over-consumption instead of a more pristine environment.
\nHe held we need to bring this and other issues out in the open and have
\nintelligent social and political debates about energy options. <\/p>\n

Dr. O\u2019Leary also suggested we adopt a broad, holistic Manifesto for
\nSustainability. \u201cTogether we need to create a new science of
\nconsciousness that includes quantum physics, parapsychology and
\nalternative healing as well as zero-point energy research.\u201d Most of
\nall, he claimed we need to get beyond materialism, reductionism and
\nself-determination and consider the effect of all our thoughts and
\nactions on the whole world. <\/p>\n

O’Leary firmly stressed that the solution to our energy problems
\nlies in social activism and joint advocacy along with altruistic and
\npublic funding from citizens. He advocated strength in numbers as a
\ncounter-weight to corporations that rape the planet for their own
\nselfish gains. <\/p>\n

Jeane Manning<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Jeane Manning, NEM board member and author of The Coming Energy
\nRevolution and Energie, said her goal was to make the New Energy field
\nuser friendly for the public. She compared the clean-energy field to a
\ncontinent with a great divide. On one side of the mountain are typical
\n\u201crenewables\u201d from solar to wind, and on the other side is a vast
\nuncharted territory called New Energy. The high ground between them is
\nthe point where explorers looking to the frontier glimpse an untapped
\nSea of Energy. <\/p>\n

Manning said many new technologies are based on resonance. Walter
\nRussell’s scientific art such as "In the wave lies the secret" provides
\na visual reflection of this and other principles. Current technologies
\nemphasize explosion reactions and heat, while New Energy emphasizes
\nimplosion and cool technologies. Manning gave an overview of the many
\nemerging technologies, showing many solutions to our fossil fuel
\naddiction. Her presentation introduced: <\/p>\n

* Blacklight Power – Randell Mill’s hydrino technology <\/p>\n

* Hydrogen on Demand – different ways to produce hydrogen that are less expensive and safer than current methods <\/p>\n

* Carbon Arc technology <\/p>\n

* Sonofusion – a method of using sound waves to create heat in a fuel-less furnace <\/p>\n

* Cold Fusion and Light Element Fusion – "while cold fusion was said to be buried back in 1989, it is still very much alive" <\/p>\n

* Exotic Vacuum Objects – research by Ken Shoulders with the goal of
\ndirect electrical output from ZPE. He intends to create ball lightning
\nthat can be harnessed to do work <\/p>\n

* New Heat Engines – in which table-top experiments turn conventional heat theory up-side-down <\/p>\n

* Resonance Amplifiers – many researchers, including Stan Meyer,
\nhave claimed excess energy through amplifying resonance effects,
\nsimilar to a child on a swing using low-power nudges to amplify into
\nbig results. Xogen is one company Manning mentioned that gets energy
\nfrom water resonance. <\/p>\n

* Electrostatic devices – can get energy directly from atmospheric charge <\/p>\n

* Aetheric Energy – which can be captured or accumulated <\/p>\n

* The E-Dam – made by Win Lambertson, another conference speaker who showed a device which is 153% efficient <\/p>\n

* Shape Power – special geometric shapes concentrate energy. Researchers\u2019 goal is obtaining useable power <\/p>\n

* Vortex Energy and Viktor Schauberger’s work – devices which
\nimitate nature’s vortices and spirals, including very efficient pumps,
\ntwister pipes and wavy plate disks. <\/p>\n

* No-Fuel Steam Generators – which use a small amount of mechanical energy to generate excess heat <\/p>\n

* Spiraling Fluid Drives – by D. Hinrich are not overunity but do demonstrate Schauberger principles <\/p>\n

* Radiant Energy – a different kind of electricity discovered by
\nTesla and developed by Ed Grey, T. H. Moray, John Bedini and others,
\nwhich meters can’t yet detect. Today\u2019s fast electronic switching aids
\nsuch approaches. <\/p>\n

* New Superconductors – such as those developed by Mark Goldes *
\nSolid State Devices of various kinds – including new advances by John
\nHutchison which he says produce 1.3 volts per centimeter <\/p>\n

* Lifter Technology – like those promoted by Tim Ventura and JLN
\nlabs Manning acknowledged the suppression of these new forms of energy,
\nyet she rallied the crowd and gave them hope in her final slide: two
\nsimple light switches, one turned off and one turned on. "Let’s turn
\noff the power of corruption and turn on the power of people," she
\npleaded. Manning proclaimed that en masse, people, unafraid of new
\ntechnology, can start using "small-is-beautiful" technologies and save
\nthe world. Her overview of the field made it possible to believe that
\npeople really can do just that. <\/p>\n

Dr. Tom Valone<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Tom Valone, President of Integrity Research Institute (IRI), was a
\npowerhouse of knowledge and facts and gave a thorough overview of where
\nwe are currently at with energy needs and where we could go in the
\nfuture to meet those needs. His first blockbuster fact caught the
\naudience\u2019s attention immediately; 85% of energy today comes from the
\ncombustion of dead fossils, forcing the world\u2019s atmosphere to overheat.
\nWe are likely seeing the results of global warming in our weather such
\nas the four hurricanes in Florida experienced in 2004. <\/p>\n

Valone commented that Hubbard\u2019s Peak \u2013 the peak of oil production \u2013
\nis right on the projected mark for the US. Most alarming is that the
\ncarbon dioxide in the atmosphere is at three hundred parts per million
\n(ppm), the highest it has been in 400,000 years and may reach six
\nhundred ppm by 2050. Further evidence of global warming are the liquid
\nlakes at the North Pole. The ice cap is rapidly disappearing, which
\neffects the reflected solar radiation, causing other global weather
\nchanges. <\/p>\n

Valone warned ominously that a sixth to eighty percent reduction in
\ncarbon emissions is required to stop global warming. The most
\nfrustrating fact of all, he stated, was that two thirds of all the
\nelectricity produced in the US is wasted. <\/p>\n

Integrity Research Institute (IRI) is researching the following
\nenergy solutions: 1) Atmospheric electricity, 2) Nuclear, 3) Quantum
\nvacuum zero point, 4) Space propulsion energy, 5) Magnetic motors.
\nAtmospheric Electricity Ben Franklin almost had it clear back in the
\n1700\u2019s. Electrostatic motors have been known about since the beginning
\nof this country. One motor has been operating for eighty-six years and
\ncounting. Reference was made to the American Journal of Physics, 1971,
\npg. 778, regarding the 200 Gigawatt potential in the atmosphere. <\/p>\n

The most promising technology has been known about nearly one
\nhundred years: Tesla\u2019s Wardencliff tower and scalar waves. Valone has
\nresearchers that have analyzed every part and verified each component
\nof Tesla\u2019s system to broadcast power worldwide. IRI is currently
\nworking to rebuild a Wardencliff tower. Nuclear Nuclear power is about
\nmore than just nuclear power plants. Valone told the NEM audience about
\nnuclear batteries and the work by Betavoltaics and Nuclear Solutions, www.NuclearSolutions.com <\/a>(see \u201cThe Daintiest Dynamos\u201d, IEEE Spectrum, September,1004, p.36. <\/p>\n

A very promising development of Paul Brown\u2019s is the
\nphoto-remediation of nuclear waste, using low energy gamma rays to
\ntransmute it to short-lived isotopes). Furthermore, he mentioned Paul
\nBrown\u2019s patents for extracting energy safely from radioactive materials
\nwithout nuclear power plants <\/p>\n

The studies in this field are showing one Megawatt in produces
\ntwenty Megawatts out. Valone reported that advances in this field have
\nconfirmed Brown\u2019s predictions. Recently, \u201cLaser-driven
\nphoto-transmutation of I-129 \u2013 a long-lived nuclear waste product\u201d was
\nachieved with a table-top intense gamma ray laser, with accelerating
\ngradients of 1000 times higher than conventional technology that Brown
\nproposed. The 15 million year half life parent isotope was transmuted
\nto a 25-minute daughter isotope I-128. The four-page article from J.
\nPhys. D: Appl. Phys. 36, L79, 2003 is a free download from the UK
\nInstitute of Physics, www.iop.org\/EJ\/article\/ 0022-3727\/36\/18\/L01\/d3_18_L01.pdf <\/a>, and well worth reading. <\/p>\n

Proton \u2013 Boron fusion was mentioned, where a high-voltage reaction
\nwith decaborane produces four Helium in the form of alpha particles
\nwith no neutron radioactivity. Dense plasma is focused in a unique
\ndevice which produces the 1 billion degrees (100 keV) necessary to make
\nHydrogen and Boron-11 fuse together into Helium without high energy
\nneutrons being released. <\/p>\n

A garage-sized fusion reactor would produce energy at three times
\nthe output of the Tokamak Reactor, with its old-fashioned deuterium
\nconfinement method. (See www.focusfusion.org <\/a>for more information). Quantum Vacuum Zero Point <\/p>\n

Valone next spoke about the controversial quantum vacuum and zero
\npoint energy, pointing out that zero-point energy is NOT conserved. The
\nenergy density of zero-point energy is debatable but the quantum vacuum
\nis the ultimate open system. Many areas in this field are being
\nstudied: the Casimir Force, electron-positron production, electron
\ncharge cluster technology, toroidal fields, solid state diodes, and
\nother devices. <\/p>\n

Electron charge clusters are showing nine times over unity. Electric
\nArc Discharge Accelerators also have more potential energy out than
\nelectrical energy in. We may someday rectify thermo-electric noise with
\ndiode circuits <\/p>\n

On the positive side of this debate, over unity (and its synonyms)
\nare being mentioned in mainstream literature. Dr. Peter Graneau is
\ngetting 150% efficiency outputs and flaunts the overunity claim in a
\npeer-reviewed journal: \u201cArc-liberated chemical energy exceeds
\nelectrical input energy\u201d (J. Plasma Physics, 2003, Vol. 63, Part 2,
\np.115). Pinto actually mentioned \u201cfree energy\u201d in his article published
\nin Physical Review Rev. B, 60 21, 1999 p. 4457. He uses micro lasers
\nwhich affect the dielectric constant of nanosurfaces to get huge
\nimprovements in the Casimir force (yielding a projected one kilowatt
\nper meter squared). <\/p>\n

Valone further mentioned that Feigel is the first physicist to use
\nZPE to satisfy energy conservation. Alexander Feigel proved that
\nvirtual particles can be induced to travel in a preferred direction and
\ntransfer momentum, if they are in an electric field of at least 100 kV
\nand a perpendicular magnetic field of 17 Tesla (10 kG), thus proving
\nthat the ZPF can cause motion of a dielectric fluid of 50 nm\/sec
\n(Feigel, A. \u201cQuantum vacuum contribution to the momentum of dielectric
\nmedia.\u201d Physical Review Letters, Vol. 92, p. 020404, 2004). <\/p>\n

Interestingly, the March 2004 issue of Aviation Week magazine was
\ncited since it has an article called \u201cTo the Stars\u201d that refers to zero
\npoint energy as the only possible power for future space travel. Space
\nPropulsion Energy Quantumfields.com <\/a>discusses
\na hydrodynamic model of vehicle interactions with zero-point energy
\nwhich it loses its drag as the vehicle flies in a medium such as outer
\nspace whose temperature approaches absolute zero. <\/p>\n

Valone described the works of Paul H. Hill on inertial control, and
\nhow the apparent 90 degree right hand turns by UFOs can be explained
\nwith knowledge of classical physics and inertia. A discussion on space
\npropulsion energy would not be complete without discussing the gravity
\nwork of T.T. Brown and John Searl (Valone is the author of a book on
\nT.T. Brown called Electrogravitics Systems). Valone briefly mentioned
\nhis own past work on homopolar generators, and its connection to the
\ncurrent work by Roshchin and Godin (http:\/\/integrityresinst.crosswinds.net\/Roshchin_Godin.pdf<\/a>). <\/p>\n

He reminded the group that the Roshchin and Godin machine produces a
\nseven-degree drop in temperature in the area around the electrical
\ngenerator as it operates, suggesting an unusual fulfillment of an
\nenergy conservation modality. Magnetic Motors Valone is currently most
\ninterested in a magnetic motor design by South African, Mike Brady.
\nBecause he could not find any patent information, he said he supposed
\nthe design is public domain. (See www.pureenergysystems.com <\/a>for more information about Mike Brady). <\/p>\n

Valone hopes to have his own replication of this motor done within a
\nfew months. Other magnetic motor designs were covered such as the
\nHartman Patent #4,215,330, a Spiral Magnetic Motor and a flywheel
\nvehicle power project. He referred to the June 1979 issue of Popular
\nScience which shows the original design of a spiral magnetic motor by
\nthe Kure Tekko company. All of the magnetic motor designs presented
\nwork on the principle of a \u201cmagnetic gradient\u201d which Valone said is the
\none gradient that has been ignored for energy transduction.
\nTemperature, voltage, gravity, pressure, and chemical gradients, for
\nexample, have all been historically exploited for human power
\napplications. <\/p>\n

Conclusion <\/p>\n

Tom Valone concluded by making the point that there is no reason to
\ndepend so heavily on fossil fuels; from Franklin to Tesla we have had
\nall the technology we needed. With new energy inventions there are even
\nfewer excuses to continue in our old, 20th century habits. The travesty
\nis that global warming, and its associated effects that we are now
\nexperiencing, has largely been unnecessary. <\/p>\n

Dr.Steven Greer <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Steven Greer presented a high-powered, emotional presentation of
\nthe suppression of New Energy and the forces to reckon with as oil is
\nsupplanted by cleaner and cheaper technology. He claimed that before
\nthe end of World War II, we had technologies to eliminate the need for
\nall fossil fuels. <\/p>\n

Since 1955, with the emergence of antigravity technologies, we would
\nhave had no need for roads by now, but that technology has been
\nsequestered in highly secret, compartmentalized black budget projects <\/p>\n

What we as a people are doing is a crime against nature, Dr.Greer
\nstated flatly, and he warned of the consequences of doing nothing. He
\nlamented that we have become a nation of passive cows that want to be
\nfed while the world is falling apart. <\/p>\n

While discussing the people in power who are fighting disclosure of
\nthe available technologies, he concluded by saying that about 50% of
\nthose in in the upper realms of power are now favoring disclosure.
\nDr.Greer said the world situation is all about centralized power and
\nwho is in the captain\u2019s seat running it. Certain people are addicted to
\npower and are dragging the earth down with them. It is our
\nresponsibility to help them get over their addiction. <\/p>\n

Dr. Greer, founder and CEO of Space Energy Access Systems, Inc.
\n(SEAS), outlined the methodology he is using to unveil technologies and
\ndeclared its kingpin to be public disclosure. He asserted repeatedly
\nthat his powerful contacts and black ops connections protect his team
\nand inventors, but that his greatest insurance is the public. <\/p>\n

Greer entertained, cajoled, chastised and enlivened the crowd with
\nhis stories of CIA intrigue and power structure threats. He warned that
\n"they" will continue to threaten and intimidate until the public stands
\nup to their machinations. He offered his organization to inventors as a
\nsafety net in a vast minefield. <\/p>\n

He said there are four categories of unfruitful
\ntechnology\/inventors: 1) frauds, 2) people who have things in the early
\ndevelopment stage, 3) people with inventor\u2019s paranoia or think the
\nworld isn\u2019t ready for it yet, and 4) people who took the $10 Million
\nbuyout thereby burying their technology. \u201cWe can\u2019t keep letting old
\ninventors take their inventions to the grave,\u201d Greer declared. <\/p>\n

Greer began the quest for a workable new energy technology following
\n911. He spoke of difficulties cropping up with every new and promising
\ntechnology. Obstacles aside, he claimed that SEAS is poised to be a
\ncorporate leader in the new energy field. With 313 billionaires now in
\nthe world, the problem is not finding money to support the development
\nof these technologies. The problem is finding a real technology and an
\ninventor willing to trust his or her invention to a cooperative team
\neffort. <\/p>\n

Mark Comings<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Mark Comings, a physicist, inventor and theorist, says we don’t have
\nan energy shortage, we have an integrity shortage. What we need is the
\nwill and courage to embrace and adopt plentiful, non-polluting energy
\nsources that currently exist and move forward integrating these
\nexisting new systems into our existing infrastructure. <\/p>\n

We also need to accelerate our efforts to bring new highly efficient
\ninnovations into the marketplace. The enormity of the ambient energy
\nthat presently exists and is circulating throughout the environment of
\nthe planet in the form of Solar, Wind, Tidal and Heat etc. is such that
\nthese forms of energy alone could easily supply all of humanity\u2019s
\nenergy needs if intelligently utilized. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe scientific community is aware of the Biospheric crisis, but the
\nmedia are not doing enough to communicate the actual nature and
\nseverity of the ecological crisis to the people,\u201d Comings asserted.
\n\u201cThe media is like an dysfunctional nervous system that is not
\naccurately reporting what is actually going in the body of the Earth to
\nthe human cells of that very body\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Biosphere is a singular and unitary life form; a macro-organism
\nof which humanity is but a small part. Other species are not destroying
\nand desecrating the Biosphere; humanity is unique in its destructive
\ncapacity.\u201d \u201cWe as humans are responsible to develop an energy
\ngenerating infrastructure that is sustainable and harmonious with the
\nbiosphere in the long term\u201d. <\/p>\n

He added pointedly that corporations that only look out only for
\ntheir bottom line of quarterly profits function like cancer tumors in
\nthe body of humanity and the body of the Earth. <\/p>\n

The corporate hegemony has metastasized, and it is up to all of us
\nto stop its cancerous growth and redesign how corporations operate.
\nAfter all, corporations are simply groups of humans operating according
\nto certain programs and protocols. <\/p>\n

By changing these protocols and re-envisioning how corporations can
\noperate with a primary recognition that fundamentally they are part of
\nthe Biosphere and must give back to the living fabric that they, and
\nall life, ultimately depends upon. We can then begin to see
\ncorporations actually having a positive and even regenerative impact on
\nthe Earth\u2019s ecology. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe vacuum of space is anything but a vacuum,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is
\nenormously dense with geometrodynamic potential which is dynamically
\nimbedded in the very fabric of space\u201d. John Wheeler postulates that
\nspace has an energy density of 10 to the 94th power grams per cubic
\ncentimeter. T<\/p>\n

o call space a \u201cvacuum\u201d or the \u201cquantum vacuum\u201d is a misnomer
\nbecause everything that we know about space indicates that it is not
\nempty. It is not a vacuum but rather a plenum – an absolute fullness,
\ncharacterized by nearly infinite energy density and boundless
\nluminosity. <\/p>\n

Space is literally efflorescing with virtual photons and
\nelectron-positron pair production. It is not dead, empty or inert but
\nradiant and shimmering with energetic potential. We need to re-envision
\nthe foundations of physics. Our fundamental concepts of Space, Time,
\nLight, Mass, Force etc are limited and are in the process of being
\ndramatically re-visioned. "The so-called laws of physics are special
\ncase limits of reality; they are maps which do not necessarily fully
\nrepresent the actual nature of the territory\u201d . <\/p>\n

The best science taking place at the leading edge of fundamental
\nphysics tells us that the fabric of reality is made of pure infinite
\npotential and that energetic scarcity is a lie. Scarcity is therefore a
\nfalse mental fiction. However, when it is believed and operated out of
\nas a working assumption, it propagates and fulfills that expectation,
\nthus creating an outer semblance of scarcity (through the behaviors of
\nhoarding, centralized control and selling of energy). Thus, the false
\npremise of scarcity is justified and reinforced, creating a vicious
\ncycle that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. <\/p>\n

Energetic scarcity is a fear-based human mental construct that has
\ninformed and continues to inform and impoverish the very structure of
\nour social, political and economic systems thus impoverishing our
\ncollective psychological condition along with them. <\/p>\n

All mass and matter arises dynamically out of this plenum of
\ninfinite potentiality and yet is paradoxically utterly continuous with,
\nand is in fact a dynamic expression of, this plenum. This all pervading
\ncontinuum or unified field has the features and qualities of what
\nindigenous people called the Great Spirit. <\/p>\n

The infinite potential of the plenum is our potential. We are one
\nwith the quantum plenum! Our bodies are piezo-electric bio-crystals,
\nresonant transducers of living light and life force. We have the
\npotential to increasingly become the human bio-crystalline technology
\nof love and abundance. We can thereby learn to live in-phase and in
\nresonant harmony with each other without fear, and the fear based
\nprojections that create unnecessary limitation and lack. <\/p>\n

We have unlimited access to the radiant field of consciousness which
\nis infinite active universal intelligence, We all have direct and
\nimmediate access to that field which has been referenced by the
\nspiritual traditions as the Divine Being. \u201c There is more to light than
\nmeets the eye. <\/p>\n

We need to articulate a deeper understanding of light which will
\nengender a deeper understanding of ourselves and the nature of
\nreality.\u201d \u201cMaxwell’s equations are not actually Maxwell\u2019s; they are a
\ntruncated and simplified vector form created by Heaviside and Gibbs for
\nengineers. This form leaves out an entire oscillatory component of
\nlight, the longitudinal component.\u201d Comings declared. \u201c It is quite
\nsignificant as well as symbolic that twentieth century physics has been
\noperating on a truncated and incomplete model of light. Light has more
\nto it than we have generally suspected, Light is not just
\nelectro-magnetic.\u201d <\/p>\n

Science been involved in a kind of Electromagnetic reductionism that
\ndoes not do justice to the fullness of light. We must go into higher
\ndimensions to better understand the nature of light. These greater
\ndimensions of light have been described by the mystics of all
\ntraditions as the inner light, love, spirit, and consciousness. It is
\nnecessary to be take seriously this higher light in order to bring
\nforth a clear and mathematically rigorous spiritual scientific
\nsynthesis. Such a synthesis would do a lot more than provide us new
\nsources of energy \u2013 although it will do that as well. It will enable us
\nto heal a deep epistemological and psycho-spiritual split in our
\nculture that has crippled the unfoldment of our greater human
\npotential, individually and collectively for centuries. <\/p>\n

A new physics of light can provide the basis for a spirit based
\nscience that will help move us into new new degrees of awareness and
\ncooperation . The us vs.them paradigm is a bankrupt old notion that
\nonly polarizes and weakens our effectiveness . We must develop a new
\ndisposition relative to our planetary predicament that transcends the
\npolarization that has characterized our efforts to change in the past. <\/p>\n

We need to develop inclusive strategies for conversion to a clean
\nand sustainable infrastructure that involves everyone. Even if some
\npeople and corporations are greedy and misguided, we need to
\nacknowledge that we are all rowing together in the same planetary
\nlifeboat and must focus on ways to engender cooperation and
\ncollaboration in the vast project of converting and re-designing our
\nenergy infrastructure to be non-polluting and sustainable. This is an
\nenormous job and there is a place for everyone to help and participate
\nin bringing about the necessary changes. Many of the problems we face
\nin this movement are rooted in the interpersonal sphere. <\/p>\n

Our human dissonance needs to dissolve. We need to wake up from the
\nlies we tell ourselves and take a fearless moral inventory of our own
\nlives. We need to be courageous enough to self-reflect and work on our
\nown issues and unconscious patterns. This nascent movement needs to
\nlearn to come into phase and really co-operate together. We are not
\nseparate; we are expressions of the unified field. <\/p>\n

We don’t have an energy shortage. We have an integrity shortage. We
\nhave a love and compassion shortage. We need to be the change we want
\nto see in this world. We need to be the human technology of love and
\nabundance expressed in our very way of being in relationship with each
\nother before we will be able to build an external technological
\ninfrastructure that generates and supports any kind of real shared
\ncollective abundance. <\/p>\n

We must also re-design the monetary system and create a just economy
\nto reflect the values of an emerging sustainable and bio-regionally
\ndistributed energy system. We need to realize that we are in the
\nprocess of envisioning and designing a completely new kind of society, <\/p>\n

A new form of planetary civilization is beginning to emerge based
\nupon an entirely new set of values. The commitment to generating all of
\nour electricity in clean and sustainable ways symbolizes a new human
\ncovenant with the Earth. We need to build new living communities that
\nare local in their economies and their energy infrastructure. <\/p>\n

We are beginning to see the emergence of a distributed model of
\npower sharing and power distribution that is more like the internet
\nthan centralized power distribution form utilities. <\/p>\n

Distributed power is the new paradigm. We are literally creating an
\nenergy internet that can upload and download power into the grid making
\ndecentralized power a natural feature of the new energy infrastructure.
\nWe are living in economic slavery. We need to regenerate and rebuild an
\neconomic democracy which, as Thomas Jefferson warned, is crucial for
\nhelping us maintain our liberty. <\/p>\n

If we allow the form of our economy to be dictated to us rather than
\ndecided by the collective will of the people, we give up our power over
\nour own destiny and invite tyranny. That is exactly what we have now,
\nan economic dictatorship that is corrupt in the extreme. It is no
\nwonder that we are having difficulty growing a new just and sustainable
\nenergy infrastructure when the underlying economic soil, so to speak,
\nis so rotten and leached of vital nutrients. <\/p>\n

The power to redesign the architecture of the economy is something
\nthat we need to take back into our own hands. A good example of what I
