 <\/span><\/a><\/span> Washington, DC<\/em> – \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOn July 8, 1947 General Roger Ramey held a press \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tevent at the 8th Army \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAir Force Headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin which he \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tchanged an earlier press release announcing a recovered \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcrashed disk near Roswell, New Mexico to that of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta retrieved Rawin weather balloon. This was the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t informal beginning of the now 64-year truth \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tembargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tengaging the human race.   <\/span><\/p>\n

Five years after Roswell \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tin July of 1952 a plethora of sightings took \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tplace over Washington, DC creating great concern \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tamong those responsible for the nation's \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsecurity.  Subsequently the Central \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIntelligence Agency commissioned a classified \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpanel to study and assess the phenomenon and the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgrowing public awareness of extraterrestrial \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcraft in the skies over the United States.   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t \t\t\t\t\t\tThe panel first met formally on January 14, 1953 \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tunder the direction of Howard \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPercy Robertson, a physicist, CIA employee and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdirector of the Defense \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDepartment Weapons \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEvaluation Group. <\/span><\/p>\n

The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRobertson Panel's report concluded the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\textraterrestrial craft were not a direct threat \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto national security, but the public's growing \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tinterest and engagement of the phenomenon was<\/span> a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthreat.  Consequently, President Truman's \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdecision to reverse the Roswell crashed disk \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t explanation in 1947 became a highly classified \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tformal government policy in 1953.  Official \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tacknowledgement would be withheld and public \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tawareness of the phenomenon would be suppressed \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tby any and all means.   This policy \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas very much connected to grave concerns over \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe developing cold war and nuclear arms race \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand was certainly legal under the National \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSecurity Act of 1947.  For this reason \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tParadigm Research Group has worked to replace \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe term "UFO Cover-up" with "Truth Embargo."<\/span><\/p>\n

Twenty years after the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcollapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCold War it is time for this policy of embargo \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto end.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Disclosure<\/strong> with a capital "D" is the formal acknowledgement \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tby world governments of the extraterrestrial presence \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tengaging the human race and is the primary goal of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta growing international truth movement. The \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpurpose of World Disclosure Day is to provide a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfocal point for people and organizations to come \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttogether to assert their right to know \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\textraordinary information being withheld from \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthem by their governments.  World \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDisclosure Day will also help broaden public \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tawareness of the Disclosure process and those \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torganizations involved in the advocacy \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twork.  The date July 8 was chosen to close \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe circle back to the Ramey press event in July \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof 1947.<\/span><\/p>\n

People and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\torganizations from every nation can register \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir endorsement of World Disclosure Day at the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twebsite. 3)  create a video \t\t\t promoting WDD and put in on the Internet.   \t\t\tProvide PRG the link so it can promote the video.<\/span><\/p>\n

4)  \t\t\tlet local \t\t\tTV and radio talk shows know about WDD.<\/span><\/p>\n

5)  join the \t\t\tWDD Facebook Page and the \t\t\tPRG Facebook Page.<\/span><\/p>\n

6)  grab banners \t\t\tfrom the WDD website for placement on other websites.<\/span><\/p>\n

7)  \t\t\tlooking ahead to 2012, plan events for July 8 to draw attention to \t\t\tthe public's right to know the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

8)  help educate friends, family and colleagues about the mission of the \t\t\tDisclosure advocacy movement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
