According to researcher <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openminds.tv\/french-ufo-report-081610\/\" target=\"_blank\">Antonio<br \/>\nHuneeus<\/a>&#0160; \u201cA new French report released on May 31, 2010 concluded<br \/>\nthat UFOs are definitely real and possibly of extraterrestrial origin.<br \/>\nThe Progress Report of the Sigma\/3AF Commission comes from a highly<br \/>\ncredible source, the Aeronautical &amp; Astronomical Association of<br \/>\nFrance, known as the 3AF, which established a Commission on Unidentified<br \/>\nAerial Phenomena back in May 2008. The Commission\u2019s President is Alain<br \/>\nBoudier, a former French Defense attach\u00e9, and one of its key members is<br \/>\nJean-Gabriel Gresl\u00e9, a former fighter pilot who studied at the U.S. Air<br \/>\nForce Academy and later became an airliner pilot with Air France, where<br \/>\nhe experienced a couple of UFO sightings. Gresl\u00e9 has published three UFO<br \/>\nbooks in France, including Unidentified Flying Objects: An Airline<br \/>\nPilot Talks (Guy Tr\u00e9daniel, 1993).\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\tIn the U.K. on August 4, 2010, the <a href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-10853905\" target=\"_blank\">U.K.<br \/>\nMinistry of Defence<\/a> released World War II documents that confirmed<br \/>\nthat Prime Minister Winston Churchill had adopted the extraterrestrial<br \/>\nhypothesis as the operating hypothesis of the U.K. government with<br \/>\nregard to specific UFO sightings. In early August, 2010 the U.K.<br \/>\nMinistry of Defence made public \u201can account of a wartime meeting<br \/>\nattended by Winston Churchill in which, it is claimed, the prime<br \/>\nminister was so concerned about a reported encounter between a UFO and<br \/>\nRAF bombers, that he ordered it be kept secret for at least 50 years to<br \/>\nprevent \u2018mass panic\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cNick Pope, who used to investigate UFO sightings for the MoD, said:<br \/>\n\u2018The interesting thing is that most of the UFO files from that period<br \/>\nhave been destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201c\u2019But what happened is that a scientist whose grandfather was one of<br \/>\nhis [Churchill&#39;s] bodyguards, said look, Churchill and Eisenhower got<br \/>\ntogether to cover up this phenomenal UFO sighting, that was witnessed by<br \/>\nan RAF crew on their way back from a bombing raid.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201c\u2019The reason apparently was because Churchill believed it would<br \/>\ncause mass panic and it would shatter people&#39;s religious views.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\tOn August 23, 2010 in China, a planetary astronomer formally<br \/>\nannounced the extraterrestrial hypothesis as applicable to specific UFO<br \/>\nencounters he had studied in notable sightings at the Purple Hills<br \/>\nObservatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>\tDr. Michael E. Salla <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/exopolitics-in-honolulu\/veteran-china-astronomer-claims-ufos-are-extraterrestrial-space-craft\" target=\"_blank\">notes<\/a>,<br \/>\n\u201cIn a speech at a science forum held in the city of Guangzhou on August<br \/>\n23, a veteran Chinese astronomer with almost 40 years experience<br \/>\nclaimed that some UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft. Professor Wang<br \/>\nSichao is a planetary astronomer at the Purple Hills Observatory of the<br \/>\nChinese Academy of Sciences. Based on scientific observations of UFOs<br \/>\nover his 39-year career, he has concluded that some are powered by<br \/>\nantigravity devices. <\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cHe claimed some extraterrestrials are visiting Earth in a Research<br \/>\nand Development capacity, and are therefore friendly enough to begin<br \/>\ncooperation and mutual exchanges. A summary of Wang\u2019s speech was<br \/>\nreported by a number of China newspapers including the influential<br \/>\nPeople\u2019s Daily Online. <\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cBased on his observations at Purple Hills Observatory and analysis<br \/>\nof UFO sightings, Wang was able to conclude that some UFOs are not<br \/>\nnatural phenomenon, and use antigravity technology. This is how the<br \/>\nPeople\u2019s Daily Online summarized Wang\u2019s reasoning: \u2018Wang also found that<br \/>\nin the terrestrial space between the height of 130 kilometers and 1,500<br \/>\nkilometers, UFOs have appeared many times. Their flying speed is \u2026 as<br \/>\nslow as 0.29 kilometers per second [1000 km\/hr] and they can fly in the<br \/>\n1,460 kilometers&#39; height for more than 25 minutes. This means UFOs have<br \/>\nthe anti-gravity ability.
