As of
\nJune 18, 2010 seventeen members of the European Union Parliament, led by
\nItalian EU
\nMP Mario Borghezi<\/a>, have reportedly signed and tabled a \u201cWritten
\ndeclaration on the declassification of documentation on UFOs\u201d calling on
\nmember states to disclose documents relating to UFOs, and end UFO
\nsecrecy.<\/p>\n

The full text<\/a>
\nof the EU Written Declaration (0057\/2010)<\/a>, dated June 14, 2010, is set out in the
\nExaminer.com article below.<\/p>\n

The EU declaration states that the
\nEuropean Parliament \u201crecognizes that in 1978 the 33rd General Assembly
\nof the United Nations formally recognized UFOs as a valid issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

The
\nEU declaration goes on to state that the European Parliament:<\/p>\n

\u201c1.  
\n Considers it essential to set up a scientific centre for the analysis
\nand dissemination of the scientific data gathered to date by various
\nEuropean bodies and governments;<\/p>\n

\u201c2.    Calls for public archives
\non UFOs to be opened up and for records to be declassified by the
\nMember States, thus providing the public and the mass media with access
\nto the full range of documentation on the subject;<\/p>\n

\u201c3.  
\n Instructs its President to forward this declaration, together with the
\nnames of the signatories, to the Council, the Commission and the
\ngovernments of the Member States.<\/p>\n

On December 18, 1978, the U.N.
\nGeneral Assembly adopted UNGA
\nDecision 33\/426,<\/a> stating that the \u201cGeneral Assembly invites
\ninterested Member States to take appropriate steps to coordinate on a
\nnational level scientific research and investigation into
\nextraterrestrial life, including unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and
\nto inform the Secretary-General of the observations, research and
\nevaluation of such activities.\u201d<\/p>\n

To date – nearly 32 years later –
\nthe U.N. General Assembly has not taken any practical steps to
\nimplement UNGA Decision 33\/426.<\/p>\n

The European MP sponsoring the
\nresolution appears to be a committed foe of Bilderberger and
\nTrilateralists infiltration of the European Parliament. In November
\n2009, EU MP Mario Borghezio questioned the nominations of Bilderberg
\nand Trilateral<\/a> attendees and cohorts for the posts of EU President
