\nMARS: A scorpion man on Mars<\/div>\n

At its first public lecture on June 7th at Conspiracy Con 2009<\/a> in Santa Clara, California, the Mars Anomaly Research Society (MARS)<\/a>,
\na Washington State non-profit corporation, presented evidence showing
\nthat Mars, Earth\u2019s nearest planetary neighbor, is inhabited and accused
\nNASA, the US space agency, of a cover-up of life on Mars.  <\/p>\n

The president and founder of MARS, Andrew D. Basiago<\/a>,
\nwho discovered life on Mars in 2008, told the compelling story of how
\nhe found numerous images in photographs taken by NASA\u2019s Mars
\nExploration Rover Spirit<\/em> that reveal that life exists on Mars.<\/p>\n

Alfred Lambremont Webre<\/a>,
\nthe chairman of MARS\u2019 board of advisors, then set out MARS\u2019 bold agenda
\nfor disclosure about life on Mars, including a public education
\ncampaign and a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking
\nrelease by the US government of its secret documents pertaining to Mars.<\/p>\n

2008:  The year that life was discovered on the Red Planet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basiago, a lawyer from Washington State educated at UCLA and Cambridge, published a paper entitled The Discovery of Life on Mars<\/em><\/a> in 2008 that is the first work to prove that Mars is an inhabited planet and that achieves over 50 \u201cfirsts\u201d in science.  <\/p>\n

On behalf of MARS, he then sent his landmark paper to the National Geographic Society<\/a>, with a letter asking its president to publish his findings in National Geographic<\/em> as a major discovery in natural history.<\/p>\n

He showed the convention dozens of photographs of the life forms and ancient artifacts that he has found in NASA images PIA10214<\/a> and PIA11049<\/a>, which are westward and southward panoramas that Spirit<\/em> took from the Home Plate Plateau in 2007 and 2008.<\/p>\n

These
\nNASA photographs, taken in the Columbia Basin of the Gusev Crater, are
\n\u201ca cosmic treasure trove of the humanoid beings, animal species, carved
\nstatues, and built structures on Mars that reveal that the Red Planet
\nhas been a harbinger of life for eons and is inhabited today,\u201d Basiago
\ntold the audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom my perspective, the question that now confronts us is not \u2018Shall we permit the belief<\/em> that Mars is inhabited?\u2019  But rather, \u2018How shall we think about it, now that we have knowledge<\/em> that another planet in our solar system harbors life?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
