The New Moon of August first in Leo with a total solar eclipse provided the
possibility for important major new beginnings.   

On August 8 2008 at 8 PM UT the Moon will be in exact stimulation with Sun 
indicating the First Quarter aspect. ìThis represents in the lunation cycle a time of
crisis in action, a time for managerial, forceful activity.  The essential drive in the
person is the building of frameworks which may serve for the future objectivation of
new social ideas and a new sense of interpersonal relationship. Obstacles must be
overcome and willful activity is at its peak.î (Rudhyar)

The astrological chart for this day indicates two very mystical aspects with the Sun.
The Sun motivated by inspirations and aspirations in creative radiant Leo is linked
with initiatives of Mars in Virgo asserting himself through concrete achievement
requiring persistence in aspect of devotion to and recognition of the connection
between time and eternity.
The Sun also is linked with Uranus in Pisces, sign of transcendence, in aspect of most
creative externalization of life itself,  breaking up old patterns, bringing intuitive
wisdom and understanding. It is the end of what is not ‘real’.  The struggle between
materialistic and spiritual values may arise so, a choice has to be made.

The choice to be made is indicated more than ever with a Mars/Uranus opposition,
most positively to adjust and cooperate with the changes.  Pluto the divine Alchemist
stimulating this opposition in order to prepare the ground for human consciousness
for a rapid transformation and transmutation of substance with the help and radiance
of Mercury.

Mercury in awareness of Neptune indicates again the choice to be made, very aware
of pollution, confusion resulting in degradation, intoxications but on the most spiritual
level the highest respect and devotion for divine Energy and highest inspiration on
creative, artistic, scientific and healing level. Mercury has the great gift to amplify
what he touches.
Mars in exact quincunx with Neptune brings clearer focus and will be able to respond
to the higher vibrations if totally dedicated to this divine energy.
Chiron conjunct the Lunar North node in close link with Neptune provides divine
intervention on our planet Earth.

To conclude, Jupiter conjuncts the Diamond projecting the Grace of Sirius in full
harmony with Moon and totally dedicated to the Sun of this chart.
