Government of Canada Provides
Open Access to UFO X-Files
Toronto Ontario Canada February 15, 2009
– The Toronto
Canada based independent news agency ZlandCommunications, has learned that the
Canadian government under the leadership of the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Stephen
Harper has provided open access to approximately 9,500 UFO files. These files can be found at: Canada's UFOs: The Search for the Unknown.
The
Canadian web site states, “These documents were
accumulated between 1947 and the early 1980s and represent all records filed
with the federal government on UFOs. There are approximately 9,500 digitized
documents in a variety of formats, including correspondence, reports, memos and
procedures. Some are specifically concerned with particular UFO sightings,
while others are more generic in nature….”
These files reside
at the Library and Archives Canada web
site. Reports are housed within four separate categories:
1. The National Defense Department,
2. The Department of Transport,
3. The NRC (National Research Council)
and,
4. The RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted
Police)
Canada’s UFO X-files indicate
Canadian government officials have been involved in attempts to make sense of
the UFO matter as far back as 1947 and possibly earlier.
A spokesperson from
Exopolitics Toronto indicates, “We
have known that Canada
has a rich history of involvement in the UFO question. This release confirms
it.” The spokesperson went on to say, “Exopolitics Toronto already has in its
possession documents obtained in 2004 under the Access to Information Act from the Department of National
Defense indicating RCMP officers have officially reported UFO sightings, in
addition to civilian UFO reports and Air Traffic Control flight log details.
These records show that Canadian NORAD F-16 jets have been scrambled to chase
non-correlated targets without transponders in Canadian airspace. These
Canadian files, now in open view for the public, the media and scientific
community, are yet another sign that Disclosure of the UFO question is at hand.
These release occurrences do not happen randomly or for no reason. We therefore
encourage the international research and scientific community and the global
media to consider these files as yet another indication UFO/ET Disclosure is
imminent.”
GLOBAL
RESONANCE OF THE CANADIAN RELEASE
Canada has officially become yet another
G8 country to provide open access to their UFO files. The substantial
compilation of UFO documents in Canada’s
archives represents the single largest disclosure of UFO files to date by a G8
nation.
The Canadian
provision for access to UFO files falls in line with the thousands of UFO files
recently released internationally by France,
the UK and Denmark.
It is unknown at this time if the Office of the
Prime Minister has directed that these UFO files be submitted to the United
Nations according to UNGA
Decision 33/426. As a member in good-standing of the United Nations, Canada will
undoubtedly tender its information to the UN as prescribed in UNGA Decision
33/426.
Canada’s openness policy also parallels the recent
commentary by Nick Pope
– formerly of the British MoD – who has clearly substantiated in public
interviews and statements the UK’s
involvement in cataloguing and subsequent release of its UFO files to the
public.
This also is
consistent with the Paradigm
Research Group’s contention that UFO/ET disclosure is imminent in the
year 2009 as President Barack Obama’s position on transparency
in government. Stephen G. Bassett, Director of the PRG states, "Formal acknowledgement of an extraterrestrial
presence engaging the human race – Disclosure – is close at hand and possibly
already under consideration by elements within the United States Government.”
MEDIA
IMPLICATIONS
This access to
files, sanctioned by the Canadian government is also a signal to the media to
engage this issue. No longer is it possible for Canadian news agencies like the
CBC, CTV, CanWest Global, the Toronto Star, the National Post, the Globe and
Mail, Sun Media and News Wire agencies to ignore this very large data base of
information. Investigations, questions and clarifications prompted by the press
to the Prime Minister’s office are anticipated.
Reports in other
jurisdictions indicate that the unidentified craft under question not only
exist but they utilize radically arcane energy sources that may replace fossil
fuels. Source Information at: http://www.disclosureproject.
HOW
IS THE CANADIAN RELEASE UNIQUE?
The Canadian files
appear to differ significantly from the United Kingdom’s MoD, and the
French and Danish releases of UFO reports. The Canadian files do not simply
list UFO sightings; they describe actions, meetings and inter-departmental
memoranda generated by Canadian officials that attempt to make sense of the
considerable onslaught of UFO sightings as well as referencing American
problems with keeping abreast of UFO sightings.

Ed. Note: This
access to files clearly dispels the notion that Canada “does not collect
data” on UFOs. It clearly demonstrates Canada has been involved in the UFO
matter since its inception. To date Canadian governmental elected officials
remain unaware of this matter of global significance.

Minister of Canada to forward these files to the United Nations according to UN
