UK government UFO investigator Nick Pope let slip during a radio
interview last night that "UK pilots had shoot-down orders after
engaging UFO's on several occasions" during his time serving at the
Ministry of Defence.
The
announcement came during the Internet radio show Now THAT'S Weird
hosted by broadcaster Ross Hemsworth to a worldwide audience on Friday
night on Glastonbury International Radio.
Nick confirmed that
the MOD who have so often said "they pose no threat to national
security" were worried enough to issue orders to pilots to shoot down
the mysterious craft, although no shoot-downs were successful. Nick
went on to say "I am pleased that the orders were unsuccessful as the
last thing we needed is some of inter-stellar conflict"
When
Ross asked Nick what the government would do if a potential threat of
an E.L.E. existed (extinction level event) he commented that the
government would probably NOT alert the public for fear of mass panic.

Pope's
statement was backed up by the third guest on the show Peter Davenport
from the USA based National UFO Reporting Center who claimed that he
participated in a meeting with senior US government officials at which
time they told him UFO's were very real and "did pose a threat". He was
also told that during the famous "phoenix Lights incident" over
Arizona. that the US government declared a "Def Con 3" – a readiness
for war!
